In honor of Ade, 15 year old son of the lead singer of Chelle’s favorite band, Michael franti & Spearhead & her friend, Mr. Franti; Chelle & David have named their team, “Rolling Stones 4 Ade.”  *Ade is currently at 50% kidney function & was recently diagnosed with FSGS.  *Will you please make a donation towards our fundraising efforts for this important cause (or) join us & partcipate in this walk?

Being on The Fresh Diet with Chelle: Day 32

I had my new favorite kind of salad today for lunch (grilled skirt steak and nopalitos salad) & a peanut butter chip muffin with fruit and cottage for breakfast.  Everything I have truly enjoyed eating thus far, and I have been meaning to mention how good the chicken is, too!   I had a “moment of clarity” today; I used to be ordering delivery frequently, mostly for pizza, but now my “delivery” is alot better for me thanks to The Fresh Diet!
Here was my Menu for Day 32:

Peanut Butter Chip  Muffin with Fresh Papaya & Banana Cottage Cheese

  Grilled Skirt Steak and Nopalitos Salad with Tomato, Cucumber, Spring Mix and Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette

Being on The Fresh Diet with Chelle: Day 31

I got to enjoy my favorite new snack, sweet potato chips today!  Continuing to love these whole wheat breakfasts; today was whole wheat blueberry waffles.  Also loved the tender beef fillet with barbecue bourbon sauce.  Everything always tastes so good, even the sides.  I had no idea before The Fresh Diet that so many types of food I enjoy could be made healthier and taste delicious.

Look what was in my dessert today; y’all know how much I love white chocolate & anything related to coffee (including cappuccino).  Had another wonderful day of good meals and snacks including whole grain pancakes, salad, and chicken!

Being on The Fresh Diet with Chelle: Day 28

This is the only day I do not have any meals nor snacks from The Fresh Diet.  So, I ate mostly fruit and salad.  I had a fruit smoothie for breakfast, salad for lunch, and ate my “cheat meal” for dinner, which was a hamburger.

I can’t say enough of how good everything has been tasting so far from The Fresh Diet!  Why did I never realize before that it is possible to eat delicious food while eating healthy, including snacks & desserts?  Still amazes me!  Not only are the cheesecakes superb, but also the MUFFINS!

Being on The Fresh Diet with Chelle: Day 22

I discovered today I went from 20W to 18T jean size!  So happy!  Although I know I still have more weight to lose and have a certain pair of button down jeans I am saving for when I get back down to my goal weight, I’m still so thankful for this milestone in my weight loss journey!  I purpose kept one pair of jeans each size down until I reach my goal.  So glad I did now!  Almost forgot to mention I had one of my all-time favorite desserts today; Boston Creme Pie!  I even got to eat fried catfish for lunch; wow!

Being on The Fresh Diet with Chelle: Day 21

This is the only day of the week I do not get meals and snacks from The Fresh Diet.  So, I ate alot of fruit and salad today.  And I had one good cheat meal, which was a hamburger today.  I noticed though I prefer to eat even hamburger and pizza from The Fresh Diet more than any other place now!  I think that’s a really good thing!

Being on The Fresh Diet with Chelle: Day 19

I had my new favorite type of salad again toady (grilled steak salad) and had two amazing snacks;  whole wheat crostini & peanut butter chip cheesecake for dessert.  I also have enjoyed my breakfast, which I switched recently from mostly fruit to a variety of different solid foods.  Today’s breakfast was mushroom & turkey sausage egg bake with fresh pineapple so it was perfect balance as it included some fruit!
